About Us

Chapter Meetings

Front Range Chapter, NSDAR, holds regular monthly meetings in the morning on the second Saturday of the month, from September through May, in Broomfield, Colorado. We enjoy social time from 9:30 a.m. to 10:00 a.m. and the program and business session run from 10:00 a.m. to noon. Meeting hostesses provide coffee and refreshments. Although we don’t have regular business meetings in the summer, we do participate in planned activities and projects.

Each month we have a guest speaker who presents a program that will enlighten us, entertain us, and sometimes intrigue us. The programs usually are about historic facts, women in history, stories about little known facts, genealogical information, important historic figures, or a topic that falls within the mission of DAR.

There is almost always a chapter project underway – members volunteer in the community, make blankets, sew pocket prayer quilts, attend a naturalization ceremony, read to school children, collect goods for the homeless, send care boxes to our serving military, work on projects supporting our veterans, and a myriad of other service work.

We would be pleased to have you join us at one of our meetings – come visit and get acquainted! We encourage you to join DAR and preserve your family legacy for all the generations to come. You can be as active as you wish to be – there are no requirements of volunteer time – you can get involved in what interests you.

Our membership chairman will gladly respond to your email inquiry and arrange a personal meeting at your convenience to determine your eligibility for DAR. You will be given individual assistance throughout the application process. As a prospective member you will be welcomed by your new DAR friends at our monthly meetings.

The friends you make in DAR will last you a lifetime.
